Research Notes:
Not found in the 1841 Census, so maybe his age in later documents is wrong. They suggest that he was born about 1838. Birth record not found.
Dec 2010 - based on discussion on Auchmithie Roots Forum. It might be that the ages of Robert and William were switched in the 1851 census. Instead of being 12 & 10, 12 is about right for William and 10 for Robert explains why he missed the 1841 census. So Robert born in 1841.
Relativity:
• Proof Link: Son's birth.
• Branch: Cargill.
• Commemorated: Heart shaped gravestone: Arbroath Eastern Cemetery.
